What's the closest you've ever felt to complete freedom

Like nothing else mattered besides what was gone on during that exact moment?
If I'm being honest I have to say when I was wakeboarding in turks & caicos last summer. Unforgettable time.
When I'm home there are always distractions lingering somewhere in the subconscious

We’d finish LSU for the summer and head to Yosemite for a month…never sleep inside once. The couple times we did that was the best. Climb a bunch and just chill. Insane hikes (climber approaches and descents) on days off.

Probably those 10 or so days between taking your final test as a senior in HS and waiting for the official graduation. That was 10 days of parties and more vageen than I've ever gotten in a 10 day period in my life. Then followed it up with another week plus in Cancun, tits and tequila after graduation.

Running 70+ mph in my bass boat, by myself, on an open lake.

Riding a carousel with my (then 3) year old daughter in London this past Thanksgiving. Just holding on, waving to mom and my 1 year old every time we'd go around, beer in my hand in the crisp air listening to her squeal with joy.

Sold everything and bought a 35’ sailboat in Pascagoula MS and took it to the Bahamas. Took about 16 months for the money to run out.

played a father son baseball game against my youngest's team when he was around 13 or 14.
I was playing 2b, his team was batting. He hit a stand up double.
I've had millions of conversations at 2B during my lifetime. Both as the runner and as the middle infielder.
But for those few moments, it was my son standing there looking at me with that smirk on his face pretty much talking shite without even saying a word.
And the whole world just stopped for a second or two.

Hell that was my entire senior year after football session ended. Didn't make it to cancun tho! I can only imagine.
