For the life of me I can’t figure how someone hasn’t coached DJT to answer the “is Kamala a DEI hire. Would be easy to say what do you call it when the person who is responsible for hiring says they are hiring a black woman as VP and placing a black woman on the USSC with no other options entertained? It would place facts there and turn the argument around. He could go farther and say that it’s disrespectful for the candidates bc they may have been qualified (maybe not in this case) but will be perceived as DEI. Seems like an easy win for DJT. That would squash the DEI talking point and maybe sway a few people.

Agree 100%, not sure why he didn't say she clearly is one, it was overt when Biden picked her

I’m confused as to how they interpret it as insulting. Do democrats and Harris not support DEI efforts? If they do, do they not realize this means identifying where/how an org/group/govt are “lacking” in diversity and changing that. Making a “dei” hire.

“This place has too many white men, we need a black woman”. What’s more Democrat than that?

They fricking celebrated and cheered when Biden said he would only select a black woman for vp. They cheered even harder when Biden did just that. At no point during the vp selection process did Biden say he was picking someone based on their policies.

It's like we're in some alternate reality. The ones who celebrated and cheered for biden to pick a vp based solely on skintone and gender are acting outraged if you say Kamala was only picked based on skintone and gender.

Seems like a no brainer to me. There has to be people in his camp that are compiling possible questions and answers

Because he does not want to attack her there, he lets people draw their own conclusion. He has been all over her record, i.e., DEI hire. He is calling her a DEI hire without calling her a DEI hire. Its actually pretty savvy.

All he has to say is, “Ask Joe Biden if she’s a DEI hire. He specified that his VP had to be a black female.”

I see that tact also. I just wouldn’t trust most of the population to be able to draw any conclusions that they weren’t already biased towards. He wouldn’t be blatantly attacking her IMO he would be calling out the hypocrisy

It's such an obvious answer.

Maybe he is saving it for the debate.

Well they’re Libs so they can pull some mental gymnastics and extreme hypocrisy.

It’s like they want DEI to work in the background as a general matter but not to make DEI hires as lacking merit, which they ostensibly do because of DEI. That is, you can never be sure they aren’t.

When the policy is viewed positively they create it and cheerlead for it vehemently

As soon as it becomes viewed negatively in any way, they are against it, and you're the problem for ever even mentioning it.

The media said so, so obviously it's true.

Stop playing language games with them. Just call it for what it is.

Liberals and "Progressives" (socialists, frick their language games) created Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as another of their language games to work around supreme court rulings that basically struck down affirmative action.

They chose words to describe it that they felt could not be challenged because those ideas are something everyone must agree with.

However, now that their is pushback on the concept, they have re-conscripted the language and are using it as a racial slur.

The biggest strength that the socialists have is an absolute grasp of language and how to develop and weaponize it emotionally for an ignorant populace.

Don't fall into the language trap, call things out simply and clearly for what they are in other words and avoid playing their semantics games.

The problem with racial quotas, DEI policy, etc is that it limits the pool of candidates/applicants etc. This limit nearly ensures you won’t get the best or at a minimum it is much less likely.

If calling her a DEI hire is insulting, he should ask why and let them answer. Make them say it.

Yep. He should have said,” what kind of hire would you call it when Joe Biden said all he was considering for VP were black women?

Biden admitted she was a DEI selection.

Now they don’t like it. Typical.

Most of the population would object to DEI as affirmative action by a different name. I do not think he needs to explicitly spell it out.

The people asking him the question couldn’t even define it.

Kind of like not knowing what a woman is.

There is a subset of our population that are in full support of systemic racism. It’s just towards whites.

If kamala ran as the Republican, they would point out her whiteness and her Jew white husband.

We all know this.

Jews are a minority on this earth compared to other religions. But that doesn’t matter, the Jews are white.

That’s right. Trump should run entirely on racism and sexism. It should be all about Kamala Harris. That’s Trump’s best strategy.
