I think a depth chart made up of LSU greats would go undefeated against every other SEC team doing the same. And I'll take that to the bank. I'll start with skill positions.

QB1 : Gotta be Joe Burrow with JD as the backup.

RB1 : Faulk/Hilliard? This one's tough man Y'all gotta help me here.

WRs: Here we GEAUX. Ahem. Chase/Nabers/Jefferson/Reed/Hamilton etc

There are too many WRs that deserve WR1 I can't even BEGIN.

TE: Foster/Cannon/Moss . You know, Cannon was actually a badass TE.

CB: Honey Badger/Peterson/Webster/Claiborne/Stingley?

I'll get to thinking about the rest of the positions but we really have been spoiled. Help me out! Disagreements and all.

It’s Fournette for me at RB1. If he played four years he would’ve crushed all the records for rushing stats at LSU. Patrick Peterson has to be on the list as well.

If you put Fournette with today’s style of offense, he would get 125 a game. Teams knew we were one dimensional.

Richard Dickson is often forgotten but he was very productive during his time. He was better than Foster Moreau imo.

QB Joe
RB1 Fournette
3rd Down Back Faulk
WR1 Chase
WR2 Jefferson
WR3 Nabors
TE: LaFleur
LT: Whitworth
LG: Faneca
C: Mawae
RG: La’el Collin (I am cheating)
RT: Will Campbell

Going with a 4-3 base but i’m gonna add a nickel Back

LE: Gabe Norther
DT: Glenn Dorsey
DT Kyle Williams
RE: Marcus Spears
OLB: Devin White
MLB: Bradie James
OLB: Michael Brooks
CB: PP7
SS: Landry
FS: Adams

That's a pretty good list on both sides of the ball

Cannon was actually a halfback at LSU, tight end in the pros. So your depth chart should include Cannon, Fournette, Guice and Steve Van Buren at halfback.

Jimmy Taylor at FB

Add Wendell Davis, Eric Martin, OBJ at WR.

Add Robert Royal at TE.

This was an easy pick.

Also, Yelberton Abraham Tittle and Bertram Hays Jones should get some mention at QB if we're talking NFL days.

Older posters may remember

DE Leonard Marshall (one reason that Lawrence Taylor is in the NFL HOF)

CB Chris Williams with Peterson, Webster - I would leave Mo Claiborne out

Faneca, Andolsek, and Stephen Peterman at G, Mawae and Pocic at C, Whit and Collins at T

Certainly Casanova at free safety.

Robert Royal and Dickson over Lafleur at TE.

Kendell was really good but honestly I don’t know if I would put him above Pat Queen or Jacob Phillips even. We are very underrated when people talk about colleges who produce the most badass LBs.
