re: Does LSU rush the field?

Aggies record vs LSU since joining the SEC is 4-9

So to answer your question. No beating A&M is not a major feat.
With that said many will be sad as it only further prolongs the Brian Kelly era.

Also on the "I can't believe Vanderbilt didnt rush the field after the big upset last weekend. Very strange."

Well Vandy was favored and everyone pretty much picked Vandy to win so it wasnt even close to an upset. Had LSU won that would have been an upset.

Well LSU was the Underdog yesterday. Ole Miss was favored to win that game in Vegas.
Soooo I get the media likes to call it "an upset" for clicks but in reality LSU was a 1.5 pt underdog..

So that wont work they already were underdogs.
Agreed, LSU vs A&M is a forced "Rivalry" and neither fan base cares about it much. Especially since OU and Texas are now in the SEC.

For LSU need to replace A&M and Bama.
"2 season opener losses was an anomaly. 3 losses became a pattern."

I know you are referring to Kelly specifically but as a fan base...

Wish it was only 3. Last time LSU won an Opener my daughter was in the 8th grade.
She is a Sophomore in College now...
Its freaking embarrassing....
Similar to most other posts.
I pay 0 attention to recruiting, I dont care of a kid "commits" because 90% chance he will send out a "respect my decision" tweet at some point. It all means nothing these days the word commitment.
I have no clue who LSU Signed in the portal or HS recruiting last year.

I will watch the games and cheer for whoever runs on the field wearing purple and gold but I will know may 5 of the players like Nuss and Weeks.
I dont get nearly as upset or excited on the outcome. I just casually watch. Yes I want LSU to win but if they lose a shoulder shrug and changing of the channel and moved on. Unlike my youth where it would ruin the entire week.

I live 1 hour from Clemson and I am not attending the game. Why? Because of just the hassle of it and to be honest the Joy of opening days games has been kind of stomped out over the last 5 years since we lose every single one of them. Not up for spending another wad of cash like Vegas last year to get disappointed yet again. I can do that for free on my couch.
What's crazy is I live about 1 mile from where The Weeks brothers (Mettenberger and Max Johnson as well) grew up and played football here in Watkinsville Georgia. Which is essentially Athens GA (UGA football stadium is about 20 minutes away). Oconee County Highschool is surrounded by UGA cattle farms, Agricultural school farms, etc for the most part.

Yet here are kids who played in essentially a rural North East Georgia High School, in the Shadow of UGA's football stadium attending and thriving at LSU..

I kind of compare it to if there was a pipeline from Brusly HS where 5 players committed to and played at UGA.

Its a great thing.
What you've just typed is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Well said. My passion is very low. Yes I will watch games on Saturday because I love football but I pay no attention to recruiting any more. When a kid commits I could care less because 50% of the time a "respect my decision" tweet is coming any way or they will be in the portal in a year anyway. Or kids like the Michigan QB who was 100% committed until UM offered him 12m.

My team had a great portal class but you know what I realize not a single one of those kids cares about the State of Louisiana or LSU. They are a hired gun.

Now if LSU is competing for a NC sure we will all enjoy it. Sure Burrow was a grad transfer and we enjoyed that but when freshman is making more money never taking a snap than an NFL rookie. TJ Finley and Carson Beck is a text book example what is wrong with College football.

I simply just dont care anymore. Heck LSU is playing at Clemson next year and hour away from me (I live in Athens GA) and I am 50-50 in attending. Which 10 years ago was a no brainer.

Without limiting it to Athletes my list is as such

1. Ryan Clark - He is just awful and hope he never mentions he went to LSU nor associates with our state of Flagship school.

2. James Carville - It drives me crazy he is on TV wearing LSU gear everyday spewing nonsense. I wish he would stop wearing LSU and Louisiana stuff on TV. He is an embarrassment to all of us.

3. Angel Reece for recent history - She is not a good representative of LSU.
Well I live in Athens GA so guess would pick that one…
Well Watkinsville but UGA is 15 minutes away

Sadly LSU hasn’t played here since Mettenberger. Who ironically is also from Watkinsville as are the Weeks boys and Max Johnson (although he isn’t LSU anymore)
Slow clap for Tennessee
Good for them. They did the right thing

Time someone takes a stand against this garbage….

re: OT - 0-6 Braves ???

Its become comical at this point.

No team in this history of MLB has made the playoffs starting 0-7

So either the Braves make history by accomplishing something that has never been done.

Or our team is basically a deadman walking and for the next 175 games we will enjoy the sounds and sights of a beautiful game know it really doesnt mean anything.

OT - 0-6 Braves ???

So I am a huge braves fan. I was so excited for this season as preseason predictions had us only behind the Dodgers relative to favored to win the W.S.

Pumped about opening day/week even bought a few games on Fanduel app (Dont get me started on that)

Well now we are 0-6 (No team has ever made the playoffs starting 0-6) our new starting LF who got a 42m dollar deal is suspended for 80 games for PED use and I believe the post season (long shot now anyway)

Is it time to panic?
His youngest Audrey graduated in 2024. She is a freshman starter in Softball at Alabama. So he would not have left until she graduated. His wife was also very active in the school.

Jon will do well and as a former Prince family for 10 years (Daughter graduated in 2024 as well) we are thankful for the 5 straight State Championship games in a row (won 3) that Greg brought to our school and building the program to what Jon is inheriting. Wish him nothing but success in the future.

Oklahoma.
That is where he played football.
He went to school at Bama

Similar to Joe Burrow (His words)
Went to school at Ohio State
Played football at LSU.

With all that said Hurts seems to be a very smart, classy quality individual. It is hard not to root for him.
For the record.

99% of us DO NOT claim James Carville and cringe every time we see him with his LSU stuff all the time on TV.
The same 99% wish he would NOT wear LSU Stuff in any capacity.

Shaq would probably be the biggest since he transcends just sports now.

SEC Champs - UGA

Who beat Texas twice

You mean 2nd best team in the SEC
The scheme that has score on TD in the first half ?
“Was” is the operative word in your post….
LSU is missing most of its secondary and OL

Oh and about 1900 receiving yards…

I wouldn’t touch that game
