A normally calm Black Diamond Geyser had a pretty significant eruption today, way more than its normal geyser activity. It destroyed some of the boardwalk, thankfully nobody was injured as far as we know.

It was caught on film. Eruption and aftermath videos in the article linked below.

2024 not messing around. Might as well just have an asteroid hit the Earth and get it over with at this point!

I hope some of those pushy Asian folks with ZERO manners got some hot water sprayed on em. Perhaps the morbidly obese family got a little exercise vacating the area......

Damn dude, get some sun. Don't wait till you're on summer vacation.

Tall, albino, and fleeing from an unexpected eruption on foot is no way to go through life.

The earth has had climate change since it's inception. This is one of the main things that wiped out previous species of Homo. I don't understand why people want to argue about it.

Don’t they have scientists that track and monitor activity? Surprised people were allowed out there.

Yes actually

And they have been warning we are overdue for a massive supervolcano erruption by several hundred thousand years

If it erupts, the people there would be dead so fast they wouldn’t even know it. No use in warning them
