Where are the hurricanes we were promised?

Don’t want any, and there’s still time to go, but it’s been really quiet this year. When are the “experts” going to be called out for their forecasts each year? I wouldn’t care if it wasn’t a vehicle for climate change propaganda.

What the frick are you doing tempting the gods like this? In mid-July?? We're still a month from peak season.

You need to STFU.
You can complain about it in December.

The meat of the season is mid August and into September

Busy months are August and September.
Stop tempting fate.

STFU, hurricane season statistically has barely even begun and the gulf is a jacuzzi right now.

a run of saharan dust has short term with nothing on the radar for now
I would say the one that just hit Texas was pretty significant for early July, go ask some houston residents about lack of power in 100 degree heat
mid to late August is when things really start to get going so I'm sure those rogue weather sites are getting close to spinning things up and setting up two/three week threads that are usually worthless until they actually get in the gulf
