With all the crap going on in this world, the legislature in New York took the time to ban small toiletries in hotels to reduce waste. Since most of the people in hotels in New York are travelers, they will just bring their own small bottles. Because 3oz is all you can carry on a plane. Makes no sense.

Banning? What's the point in banning something as inane as this? Is it mandatory? If not, problem solved.

Why take the time to ban something so innocuous? Its like 3 tined forks in restaurants because they can get 4 tined.

With all the problems NY is facing, it is dumb AF that they chose to tackle a non problem first.

I don't care. I much rather the dispensers anyway.

Meh, most hotels I go to have the large bottles attached to dispensers on the wall. Actually more cost effective for the hotel. I don’t understand why there needs to be a ban on the small ones.

I'm really glad someone is FINALLY tackling this problem. Should have been banned a long time ago.

Lol. They will move to dispensers mounted on the wall saving hotels money.

Would not be surprised to see the hotel industry was behind this. Now they can say the government forced them to do this which saves them money.

Babe, you are sadly misinformed. You need to take your arse back to Austin where you belong.

You know, they can just put large refillable containers of soap and shampoo in the shower.

Every hotel I’ve stayed in for the last few years has had these.
