Easily one of my favorite shows.
I remember having gamethreads about the show on tv. On this board.
Almost through the first season.

Don't know if I can take that ride again considering the payoff.

Great ending to a great show

The “ we have to go back” is one of the best tv moments of the 2000’s
Truly a WTF is happening moment . And then we had to wait all summer .
Masterful.

I watched a good while ago. I got my roomate in college to watch and realized how many unasnwered questions there were. How many things that seem like big deals seemlingy are forgetten or don't impact the story.
Still a fun, interesting show.

I was never more invested in a show than Lost. It was perfect timing. The internet was widely available and they took advantage of things that other shows could not. The message board and theories were absolutely incredible. It was the perfect show to watch weekly because you needed an entire week to dissect it with everyone online. It wouldn’t be the same if it came out today.

Yeah that show certainly meandered towards the end. The first few seasons were some of the best TV I've ever watched

Better than the end of Game of Thrones.

I find it funny that Lindelof and George RR Martin both hate each other. frick both of them.

I just finished a rewatch. It holds up well, even if the final season left something to be desired.

But where does George get the fricking balls to criticize them over not being able to write an ending? Damon and Carlton bit their tongues for nearly a decade over that, but just railed into him the second the show ended.
At the end of LOST people were bitching about the answers (some of which were actually answered like the polar bears for instance), but what were people bitching about at the end of Game of Thrones? The characters, and that’s a much, much worse sin than just some plot points not going the way you wanted it.
So George should have shut the frick up after LOST and I firmly support Damon and Carlton shitting all over him at the end of GoT.

The fat frick was never capable of keeping his mouth shut. He's a bum that hasn't wrote a good book in 24 years.

Is the series worth watching if I already know the ending? I didn’t watch it when it came out, but obviously heard people discussing their opinions on the finale.

Absolutely, and to be honest there's a good chance some of the people discussing the finale didn't have a clue what it was either. It's not some super high level kinda thing but for some reason people still to this day think "oh so [stuff]..." When that wasn't what actually happened AT ALL.

Awesome. Thanks for the heads up. Watch it years ago and need to rewatch.

I’m willing to bet that you don’t actually know the ending and some people misinterpreted it to an extreme degree.

Dude can actually explain stuff coherently in discussions and panels and made The Leftovers too.
