Does he come back to Nola or go join his friend Lebron with the Lakers?

We really don't have room for a nostalgia signing. I'd love for him to come back but I'd much rather keep a guy like Jose around as well.

I love Jose but CP as your backup pg is an upgrade.

Update: spurs want CP. CP and wemby becomes new lob city.

He's never played outside of the West, but if he did I imagine Philly & Miami would be enticing.

In the west, LAC, LAL, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans could all use a PG general like CP3 to run their 2nd unit.

He’s not coming here. CP3 would retire before he came back to New Orleans.

Why? He still loves the city and Willie and him are close. CP doesn’t hate nola or anything.

Is he at 39?

I'd rather a lesser player that will be around longer.

I'd say the only reason to even bring him on ain't even on the court reasons. We do need a guy that's kind of a dick.

We do have CJ, who's currently 32. But if we trade Ingram in the near future, then (aside from Matt Ryan at 27), our next oldest players will be Jose at 26, Herb at 25, and then Trey -- who just turned 24. Zion would be next, and he turns 24 next week.

Getting rid of Jonas, Larry, Zeller, BI, and Naji means that our team will be extremely young. We could use some veteran leadership.

CP is one the smartest players in the league. When you have Willie as coach- you can use guys like CP on the court.

CP and CJ being in the locker room means two current / former NBAPA officers.

Cause he can stay in California with his family and get a job.

I want to bring in CP3 just to be player coach. He would tell Willie the truth and not worry about pissing him off.

CP3 couldn't even stay healthy as the backup point guard. It's been an annual thing for close to 10 years now that he gets hurt and it derails any hope of postseason success. He's done. Time is up. Hard Pass
