Biden is flexing his muscles against his own party and saying frick you. I'd be shocked if they don't go scorched earth on him now. Maybe his delusions will continue even beyond being thrown under the bus by his own party, thus giving him no chance

Once you understand that as the federal government sits today, there exist in DC a more powerful force than the president and Congress. What Biden/Jill want doesn't matter.
