I agree with almost every choice he made. I'd put in LeCharles Bentley at C over John Hill, but he went with Hill because of his longevity.

I don’t have an argument with any of them, aside from Michael Thomas

Thomas is outrageously overrated and was nowhere near the contributor Eric Martin was to the Saints

Switch those 2 and the list is spot on

RT - Stan Brock
I could’ve (and maybe should’ve) gone with Terron Armstead here, but his injury concerns and inability to stay healthy made me go with Stan Brock. He played 13 seasons in New Orleans, and in nine of those played in every game. He only played in less than 10 games twice. He may not be in the Hall of Fame, but he was a rock for the Saints at RT for 13 years.

This explanation (not the choice) was an odd one for me. I remember Armsted stepping in at LT pretty early in his career (2nd year) because the guy they had there was struggling. Did Armstead ever start at RT, maybe his rookie year?

I wouldn't go that far, but I agree that Martin should be in the spot over MT. Hubbard used MT's prime season to put him in over Martin, but throughout the other positions argued longevity/consistency to put key people in over other players that may have had a few better seasons.

Could make an argument for Jabari Greer over Lattimore. He was a Saint for only four years but he was instrumental in our Super Bowl winning season and very good the other years.

Dude was having a pro-bowl year before he tore his knee up. I could be remembering this wrong but IMO his injury was one of the reasons the defense went from good to horrible from 2013 to 2014.

I don’t hate any of it. I’d probably put Sammy Knight or Malcolm Jenkins over Roman Harper.

No hate. He’s def up there as far as players go for the saints. There’s some great arguments at lb from the sine patrol to, Vilma, to Demario

Agreed. I wouldn’t hate on anyone arguing for Mills, Vaughn, Jackson, Swilling, Vilma, or Demario as an all time Saint at LBer. HM to Fields and Fujita too.

Take Le Roi Gover off the team and add Vaughn Johnson. Leaving Johnson off this list would be criminal and make the list with a 3-4 defense since that was what the Mora era defenses used and were the best in team history.

True. But Tommy Myers and Derland Moore are on there. I was happy to see that. Especially Tommy Myers.

Did we not have a better guard than Nicks? Nicks was good, but it was short lived.

I vote for Eric Martin as well.

Jake Kupp comes to mind. But Nicks was All-Pro when he was with us wasn't he?

It’s why they fell off so hard at the end of the 2013 season. Went from rolling with Greer who was one of the best in the league that year along with Kenan Lewis to Corey White.

Morten over Lutz is cemented now thanks to the ill advised cut last preseason

I like the list. I would give three honorable mentions:

1) Vaughn Johnson

2) Reggie Bush

3) Darren Sharper
