quote:

An Orleans Parish judge on Tuesday tossed Mayor LaToya Cantrell's civil stalking claim against Anne Breaud, a resident of the Upper Pontalba building on Jackson Square who photographed the mayor on April 7 as she dined with police Officer Jeffrey Vappie.

Civil District Judge Bernadette D'Souza granted a motion from Breaud's attorney to strike Cantrell's petition for a protective order. Cantrell and Vappie, among others, were under subpoena to testify on Tuesday in the case.

The judge also ordered Cantrell to pay Breaud's legal costs. She asked Breaud's attorney, Justin Schmidt, to return with an invoice.

Awesome!
She’s probably pissed off about this and currently getting drunk somewhere. Maybe she will do an interview later for our entertainment.

She will eventually be in a cell. Just have to be patient.

From WDSU, taken from the mayor’s office.

“Today, the overall objective was achieved, bringing needed attention to the threats and aggressive behaviors toward the Mayor. Given our current political climate, it was even more important that these issues were brought to light, highlighting that no one should have to endure the burden of any kind of threats or mistreatment.

Now that this legal proceeding has taken place, there is greater awareness that the Mayor needs to be treated with respect and dignity and be able to have a safe quality of life for herself and her family.

The Mayor will continue to serve the citizens of this great city and will remain focused on moving us forward together."

What a vile human being.

She's technically term-limited out, but you may still be right, since she's never considered any other rules or laws applicable to anything else having to do with her administration.

I am guessing that they are talking about Breaud in this part.

What a retarded statement.

“Today it was shown that my actions in abusing the court system were clearly frivolous and the judge ordered me to pay the other side’s legal fees because of it. I’ll go ahead and count that as a win for me.”

She won't pay, she thinks she's above the law. I see a suit coming.

Scurry to think about how this wildebeest acts OFF camera. She’s a buffoon of the highest order when the damn things are pointing at her.

Can't run again.

Hopefully we don't get someone even worse.

Even Oliver Thomas, a convicted felon, would be better than her.

I agree. She's probably getting drunk somewhere in Europe at a "Leadership" Conference paid for by the taxpayers.
