Star Wars: A New Beginning is the official sequel to the Skywalker saga.
The plot is expected to be about Rey rebuilding the Jedi Order after the events of The Rise of Skywalker.
The film will be directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, who also directed episodes 4 and 5 of ‘Ms. Marvel’. Daisy Ridley is set to reprise her role as Rey.

I hope they spend $500m on it.

I mean they can’t honestly think anyone is excited for this right? Right?

Seems like a great idea to give $500 million to a Pakistani political activist to make THE Star Wars comeback movie. What could go wrong?

Like how is this possible? How do the shareholders keep allowing this? I get that Disney is run by activists but don’t shareholders still want to make money?

Oh this will go over well here

I’m waiting for someone to just acknowledge that this is one giant slow burn epic troll job.
At least I could respect that on some level.

I've asked that for years now. Their decisions don't make rational or business sense whatsoever, yet the bad decisions still reign supreme and the people responsible for those bad decisions are still around. At some point you'd think the bottom line for Disney is to make money, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all, and for going on YEARS now It is confusing as hell

Here’s how you rebuild the Jedi order

Prominent Disney shareholder Nelson Peltz has led at least two uprisings to try and get the mouse focused on making money instead of agenda politics. He was beaten back by the Disney SJWs both times (including the last time when George Lucas himself sided with the Iger/Kennedy crowd and voted Nelson down).
Finally, Nelson gave up and sold all his stock a couple weeks ago.
There is no help coming to save Star Wars.
I fully expect in their next movie they will retcon Han Solo into a tranny of ambiguous race.

Yeah, I remember reading about that a while back. Good for him. Might as well cash out now while his stock is still worth something.
