Are you considerate of someone who may be in the seat behind you? Why would any grownup have to lay back 6 inches? It doesn’t make a difference. Last week a dude kept bouncing in the seat in front of me then quickly leaned his seat back to where he bumped my knees. My first reaction was to slam the back of his headrest with the back of my hand. It was a reaction. Was I wrong?

you have to know if you book in coach, there is a chance whoever is in front of you will recline their seat. Just is what it is.

My wife and I recline when we’re holding our son so he can hopefully fall asleep. Otherwise I agree, leaning back shouldn’t be done

if this bothers you, you have issues. It is way more comfortable just reclining a few inches. Doesn't bother me in the least if the person in front of me does it. As long as the option to recline is there, i'm using it.

Grow a pair of nuts.

I agree, but ultimately, I blame the airlines. If the reclining feature is available, they should make the rows wide enough to accommodate it.

I paid to recline. If you wanted more legroom you should've bought a premium seat. Be less poor.

I think there should be an unspoken gentlemen's agreement that you don't recline unless you're super tall or you've got a bad knee or whatever

But a lot of people on this site are all "I paid my 249 dollars for this flight, I'm gonna get mine!" so apparently it's not universal

You can pay for extra leg room on many flights.

Absolutely agree.

Amazing how inconsiderate people are.

frick that shite. In alot of ways, flying is no different than riding a greyhound bus. Why should I give a shite about your comfort? The airline doesn't.

My thing is I'm usually one of the first on board so I recline all three seats on my row so that the people behind don't get pushed back on and so the cabin staff can't tell they are reclined.
Now if the person behind me is tall I won't recline.
People who recline in front of me burger me a lot less than people who bounce around a lot in their seats.
I also fly spirit a lot where no one can recline.

I don't sweat the small sh*t. I lean back and don't care if the person in front of me leans back.

How about the people who in/out of their seats and hold onto the seat in front for dear life. This feels like your about to fall out of your chair especially when its unexpected or when your napping.
