GUILTY on all 3 charges. Sentencing date TBD, usually within 120 days.

Joe Biden statement - Reiterated he is a father (shocked he remembered that). Says he’s proud his son overcame the addictions. Stands by him.
Says he will accept the verdict

quote:

“As I said last week, I am the President, but I am also a Dad. Jill and I love our son, and we are so proud of the man he is today,” the president said. “So many families who have had loved ones battle addiction understand the feeling of pride seeing someone you love come out the other side and be so strong and resilient. “As I also said last week, I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal. Jill and I will always be there for Hunter and the rest of our family with our love and support. Nothing will ever change that.”

Even if convicted, he will get a slap on the hand, nothing else.

Delaware jury.

It is one of the smallest states in the union, population-wise, so there is likely one or more of Hunter’s dealers, strippers, or other assorted hangers on that are in that room.

Verdict in... That quick has to be guilty, but don't trust the system.

Joe wouldn’t have publicly come out & said he would NOT pardon Hunter if he was found guilty if they didn’t already know the jury was going to let him off. Rigged yet again.

Do we even want a guilty conviction? Just so it will "prove" there isn't a two tiered justice system in this country?

Really conflicted here.

Both Hunter and these gun laws are POS.

This is the only reason this came to trial.

Everyone knew what the verdict would be even before the trial.

Feels like sort of his "punishment" by the powers that be for just being such a sloppy careless shitbag. Also just seems like everyone involved is basically doing little more than winking and nodding along here.

Hunter had the gun charge and the tax case that could have been prosecuted, but I can’t remember why they chose to prosecute this one and not the tax charge.

Why not charge both?

Rules of game can change but currently the system says guilty regardless of 2nd amendment

Yep, this whole thing is intended to be little more than a middle finger to the average citizen.
