Rasika is a must goto.

Chef’s table was epic and totally can be spit by two.

1789 Restaurant

Romantic and cool place in Georgetown near where they filmed the Exorcist. Cool bar in the same building.

100% but I would eat somewhere else prior. Their food menu is lacking.

Good advice on here already because most of my favorites have been mentioned-

Tosca for Italian.
Rasika for Indian food.
Zaytania for Mediterranean cuisine.
Blue Duck Tavern
Old Ebbit Grill

I can also second this, I've had afternoon drinks and small plates there and it was a good time.

If you just want a burger for lunch one day Good Stuff Eatery is tough to beat. I don't know what Spike Mendelsohn puts in that burger but it's like crack.

Maydon was delicious and quite unique.

Also have enjoyed Lapis (Afghani).
