Alex is a lucky guy.

How many of us would love to be a hometown hero?

And we are lucky kids like Alex live in our neighborhoods.

Milazzo played a major role getting us through so many victories in SEC tournament and in the regional.

His continued determination to improve every year in batting and fielding has to be inspirational to all the younger teammates.

A big gigantic salute to MILLAZO.

His segment on AFR this afternoon was outstanding. I think there's a way to find those online, but I don't know the specifics.

I'm gonna miss Alex. A lot of people over the years have sort of diminished his role on this team because he wasn't a great hitter.
But what I suspect some of these people don't realize is that you have to have guys just like Milazzo to win championships. I believe he was a steadying force on this team, and someone who always gave it his all. This has a profound effect on a team that can't necessarily be measured by statistics.
Jay seems to think very highly of his baseball acumen and leadership, based on his comments in the press.
Homegrown guys like Alex are the lifeblood of Tiger baseball, and he will be very tough to replace.

I’ll always remember the Morgan to Millazo tagout at home against WF on the bunt.

Milazzo like so many others from this Coach Johnson era is the real deal, as a player and more importantly a person. He came to an event we hosted last year along with Coach Johnson. He showed genuine character, was friendly, and just seemed like a good all around guy you enjoy see wearing the purple and gold and representing LSU.

Plot twist: Neighbor's daughter is a 17 year old hottie who turns 18 in July.

I think he will most likely end up coaching ball at some point in the future. Just based off of his interviews and everything I’ve heard about him, there’s no way he doesn’t get into coaching unless he just doesn’t want to for whatever personal reason… heck I think it was last year (or maybe this year) I heard CJJ say in one of his interviews/pressers (can’t remember exactly when it was) that he was going to bring Alex on as an assistant or something, that he would find him a position on his coaching staff somehow… it did seem like our pitching staff got a lot better as he became more of a staple every game behind the plate

He'll open an office selling insurance in Zachary and make a killing.

Right! And one day he will tell his Grandchildren that he also had the privilege of catching Hall of Famer Skenes while at LSU - winning the National Championship. Great Kid, Great Teammate, Great Player, and Great Tiger Forever.
