Thanks, we'll be downtown watching the Astros play the Cards. Will likely be disappointed and hungry

Find a local place.
El Tiempo is fine but way overpriced. Superica? C’mon.

These are good. Also like Escalante’s.

Candente’s brisket enchilada is fantastic.

or maybe listen to the houston folks who know what they're talking about, many of which will have el tiempo on the list.

eta: teotihuacan is a great local option that's much cheaper than el tiempo + ninfa's

Both El Tiempo and Ninfa's have locations on Navigation (Near the stadium) that are good (it's actually the only good Ninfa's because it's the original).

Brothers Taco House is also east of the stadium and has good breakfast tacos. Or hit The Pit Room for brisket breakfast tacos.

And the Birria tacos at Cobo's near the stadium are good.

Finally, as mentioned Cadente brisket enchiladas are great.

Ninfa's on nav is my favorite but I always tell out of towners El Tiempo unless I know theyre staying closer to East Houston. Cant go wrong with either.

El Tiempo is not that good for the price.

How so? They're the same thing anyway. I like Little Rey for the breakfast taco options, but prefer Superica all around (and it comes out surprisingly less expensive for the same stuff).
