Alright so me me and my gf, we just noticed this
If you walk down anywhere around times square there, its people holding their canes bag together. Go in and its a DJ in theren like a rave club
Funny thing is Canes opened another store like half a mile away in the east village and its just as packing!

Enough to make him the 307th richest man in the world. $7.6 billion net worth...

The box combo could be $50 and Cane’s would still be packed.

Was interesting enough to me, saw a podcast said, he made $27m his first nyc. store..
** 27m is going to fly over but, $8m is the most a chic fil a store will / has ever made according to the interview, Todd said they did $27m first year in NYC

Dude is the king of efficiency. Simple, cheap, mass produced products. Minimal workplace safety/cooking standards.
Pretty sure Louisiana is also the only state that Cane's uses sytrofoam containers as well. Everywhere else I've seen uses those hard plastic boxes. Probably costs a pretty penny for ole Todd but it's the only way to make his tiny tendies look better out there I suppose.

They were expanding so fast at one point their suppliers could no longer reliably provide the original size to all their locations, so they had to downsize out of necessity.
Customers kept coming, so a move they originally didn’t want to make turned into a profit bonanza.
The rising price of chicken, especially white meat and tenders, has put a dent in those profits more recently, but Raising Canes is still printing money.

I will say those rankings are faulty because people from cough a certain region are excluded

They have had 62 straight quarters of growth (15.5 years). It’s crazy what Cane’s has done…good article on the culture LINK

The brand has experienced 62 straight quarters of positive same-store sales (if you’re doing the math, that’s 15 and a half years), and AUV has more than doubled since 2015. In Q1 2024, comps were up 15.1 percent, driven by an 11.4 percent rise in guest count. Expect things to remain the same in the foreseeable future as the brand has more than 350 restaurants in the pipeline.
