What are the odds of a punt kickoff or field goal attempt getting blown into Lake Michigan?

It's gonna be windy AF. They should play at Soldier Field.

That shite grass can't even handle the Bears playing on it 8-9 times a year. You add another 5-6 games to that and it will just be a dirt track

I mean it's a temporary stadium... What do you want them to do?

I think it will be pretty cool to see for one year to play right on the lake

But what else are they realistically supposed to do?

A punter on the far hash mark kicking with a positive wind direction may be booming 80 yard bombs in one direction, and struggle to hit it 25 yards the next quarter.

The Wildcats will also play a pair of Big Ten games at Wrigley Field in Chicago--against Ohio State on Nov. 16 and Illinois on Nov. 30.

No shite.

Ohio State isn't playing in a 15,000 seat Texas high school like stadium. That's just degrading.

Play at Wrigley or Comiskey Park? Bears used to play at Wrigley and they have played games there since, but for one year this is fine.

Well, that cuts out having home games for at least the first month of the season, which they have 3 home games scheduled for, so that's not great. Comiskey Park is like an hour from Northwestern's campus. It's not like a baseball field is that much better of a setup than what they have here. They are playing two games at Wrigley in November.

NU will be nominating Ohio St for relegation due to inferior facilities when the new stadium is done.

I can’t believe a team of architects got together, came up with that, looked at it and said, “this is the one.” And then another group of people looked at it and said, “yep. That’s the one. Release it to the public.” I’ve seen high schools with better layouts
