Why did the left get to take over all the cities

Every single urban area is dominated by violent thugs, lgbt hipsters, and drugged out vagrants. They reek of weed, trash, and human feces.
I used to enjoy visiting cities. I wouldn't mind taking my family sight seeing in some of our formerly great cities, like Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles. But anymore, I avoid these places like the plague.
I wouldn't be against just shutting cities down altogether, or at least letting red states take over control of the cities and ban the local governments from further destroying these places.

Drug dealers go where theres more people and drugs ruin lives and breed criminality? Is it really that hard to grasp?

It's easy. They focused on local elections and funded DA and Sherrif's elections, while the GOP focused on National and state elections.
So, local politicians can now enforce their agenda and way of life unchallenged. The GOP just missed the boat. Soros is not stupid. He had a plan, and it worked, unfortunately.

You should actually visit these cities instead of believing what you see on the news.
I've been to all three of the cities you mentioned in the last year and had a great time.

Not all of them. But most.

Shutting down lib safe havens like Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, New York City, Atlanta, and Austin would help this country immensely.

Statistics laugh at your meaningless anecdotes.

I'm in these cities quite a bit. Have been to pretty much every major city. They still have the shell of what once made them great places. But in general, there are large groups of loud, unruly "youths" wondering around everywhere. Drug addicts passed out everywhere, rainbow flags on every street corner. Not very enjoyable places to visit.

Union money, voter fraud and lazy non-voting middle class white voters.

It's simply statistics how it starts.
We simply segregate ourselves. It's natural.
So in a small town you get that "one crazy guy at the end of the street".
In a small city you get a "bad street"
Big city, you get bad neighborhoods/blocks/boroughs.
The only reason they are blue is the Democrats feed off of that dude, street, or borough. And the cycle of dependency starts.

Statistically speaking, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles don't make the top ten for violent crimes per capita in the US.

at its simplest, libs took all the small political jobs no one else wanted like school boards and alderman or clerk of court and such, there they could make little changes to things one step at a time until you get to here today.
most people would be shocked to learn as parents, they have little to no rights over anyone trying to brainwash their child into being gay or trans. they still think those "parents have no rights" stories out there cant be real. people used to be arrested and put in jail for doing that shite, now they want to arrest and jail the parents if they dont agree to it

cities have larger populations of uneducated people. Easier to control

I’m guessing in a lot of cities, the black folks were put into the projects, which were downtown 50 years ago.
The spread of BS started there and spread to the areas around it.
At least that’s how I see things in the south.

Started with the advent of diversity.

Because they destroyed the urban public schools first. Anyone with children who can get out of the city will leave for that reason alone.
That means the city is filled with people who are too dumb or too poor (or both) to leave, or people who don’t have kids (the gays) and those who have no control over their lives.
There are random neighborhoods where the kids are sent to private schools. But those are gradually withering on the vine as the family population drain intensifies.

I mentioned this is another thread, but urban cities of today are utterly dehumanizing. They aren't natural places for human beings to live. My wife and I have been in England and we had to come to London today to do a day trip with my parents, brother and sister, who are staying in Balham (South London).
The Tube (London subway) is the most soul-crushing place on the planet. It's crowded, dirty, stinks to high heaven and nobody looks at or speaks to anyone else. Compare this to the small villages and farm B&B's of Northern England and the countryside, where people still know one another and say hello to you when you go somewhere.
How does this fit into politics? Cities breed misery. They breed stress. They breed mental illness. These factors all play into the far-left ideology that dominates urban centers. But even beyond that, the sheer number of human interactions in big cities often requires regulations to such an extent that its residents view government in a positive light. So for them, socialism isn't a bad thing, it will merely solve all their problems.
