I look at the map and see Gaza and the West bank and it's clear to me that Israel should annex all of it and be done with this mess.

No nation has the power to recognize anything within the borders of another sovereign nation. That would be like Russia recognizing Texas as an independent nation.

Spain, Ireland, and some other EU country just recognized Palestine as a country the other day, if I correctly recall.

Which is crazy when you consider they don’t even have a sovereign government to work with and know where they stand.
We all know how this ends. They become a state. Embassy’s are erected. And they launch missiles at Isreal.
Now it’s a full blown war between nation states. Not necessary a bad thing for Israel.

Palestine was offered statehood/nationhood several times in the past and always rejected it. They push for it till push comes to shove and then reject. Civilized behavior is required by being a nation, they can't handle that.
