And no, it’s not a joke, Herb Jones has an official holiday in Louisiana!

I can't imagine something Herb would rather be at less than a phony government celebration of him.

"Whatever you guys think about Herb right now, we're all gonna luv him in a coupla years, and wonder how in the world he didn't go earlier, in the 1st round. Hide & watch, it'll happen...." (from 8/16/2021)

Sometimes...I luv to go back and read some of those early posts on the Herbster.

I think honors and acknowledgements are always appreciated. I do believe Herb is flattered and honored that the Governor of the State he represents on a professional basketball team bestows praise on his excellent accomplishments. It is truly an honor.

Real talk... Herb should be untouchable as far as trades go. We have a Top 10 defense 2 years in a row with the other 4 starters being subpar to serviceable, at best.

He hasn't peaked offensively yet, imo, and if Brandon is traded, he deserves the opportunity to move up the pecking order. I believe he has some Scottie Pippen in him and could average 15 a game. Also, depending on whether we're smart enough to acquire a starting PG, Herb can play Point Forward and could be just as good as B.I., developing his vision and passing skills. Reminder- dude was the de facto PG his senior year at Bama and did well.

I want Herb to RETIRE a Pelican and his jersey hang in the rafters. Wishful thinking, but all the chatter about trading Herb to acquire whomever is absurd. Unless that dude is 1st team All D caliber, it ain't even worth mentioning him. Zion, Trey and Herb are the core. Get a PG that can make it easier for them to do them and find a Center and draft another to develop.

Herb has the potential to be Kawhi-lite… his defense is already there and I was amazed at his offensive progress this year

I doubt Herb laughs like a serial killer, so there's that.

And some people actually talk about including him in a trade this offseason. Herb should be untouchable.
