Move more, eat less, drink a lot of water, get good sleep.

It’s mostly just that simple.

But it’s also mostly just that difficult.

Me. It is hard, I love food and never actually feel full. I've had to set absolute hard calorie goals and record everything at a 20% increase to offset the inaccuracies.

Summer is the worse time to lose weight since there are ribeye specials at Costco and other bbq/ seafood boils hitting

15lbs isn't much. Unless you have health issues a couple of mild changes to diet and lifestyle should take care of that fairly quickly.

I’ve went from 240 to 185 before but keeping it off has always been a pain. I lift three a week and cardio but if I don’t do that my eating habits are out of control and weight gain is massive

Buy a food scale.

Weigh everything you put in your mouth to get an accurate calorie count

Burn more calories than you intake. Impossible not to lose weight

My spouse is a doctor and she says she doesn’t recommend and to lose it naturally via healthier lifestyle and I agree with that.

If you get off it I know it comes back

Not trying but losing anyway. I suspect it may have something to do with a recent diagnosis of lupus but not sure.

As mentioned, watch what you eat and drink water like it’s going out of style. But never eat later than 7:00. 6:00 if possible. You’ll be surprised at how much that helps in dropping pounds.

Remove as many non-meal calories as possible. Unless you work an extremely intensive physical job, your body does not, at all, need “snacks”. The average person loses track of the utterly absurd amount of calories they mindlessly consume between meals. Bag of chips here, candy bar there, couple of sodas… and congratulations, you just consumed an entire extra meal’s worth of calories.

The advice on this thread is great for losing weight, but for example, you aren’t going to weigh your food for the rest of your life. If you don’t re-wire your brain when it comes to your relationship with food, the weight will always, slowly but surely, pack itself back on over time.

It would surprise the average person what kind of extravagant meals they are “allowed” to eat if they cut out all of the empty calories in between.
