Every projection I could find had LSU already in the field before today and mostly not even in the last 4 in category. The consensus was they were already in regardless of the result today.

5 SEC teams with better resumes had the exact same record as LSU, and teams you needed to lose last weekend won. So it was definitely not a lock (I think they made it but they were not 100% in)

Id say so, i think the committee looks a lot at how teams are trending this time of year and honestly LSU is playing like a top 20 team minimum. Plus you just beat what the Number 10 team. I think we are in but another win would not hurt especially against Kentucky.. The good new is we are finally manufacturing runs without having to hit the long ball and pitching has come a long way... I bet no team is excited about having LSU as a 4 seed in their regional

Purely playing Kentucky, win or lose, helps our RPI along with playing maybe Bama or Arkansas the next day

Louisville lost this afternoon and were another bubble team. LSU has to firmly move in front of them now. Tigers are 99% in. Aside from unpredictable chaos where several auto bids are snatched, LSU is in.

I feel pretty confident now unless there are a ton of stolen bids. Win one of the next two and I'd feel 100%.
