These guys were my band in the 80s. Rick's accident in 1984 was what spurred me to take up drumming at the age of 15. Steve Clark died in 1991, and the band was devastated. This was their tribute to him from the Adrenalize album...

I’ll Remember - Madonna on the With Honors soundtrack. Takes me back to my youth when I hear it.

"Whipping Post" has some of the most bad-assed lyrics ever!
"She took all my money, wrecked my new car.
Now she's with one of my good time buddies,
drinkin' in some cross-town bar."

Pity for The Self.
that song came on the radio 103.5 here Saturday night. My daughter and friends started mocking it and dancing crazy saying "we're raving guys! Look, we're raving!"
There is no way you went clubbing in Houston in the late 80's or early 90's and forget that song. That was as common as A Split Second - Rigor Mortis.

And there's no way I can remember every single obscure Belgian angst band from that era either.
Gives me the feels hearing a song like that after so much time.

This one popped into my mind recently. 90s country had some seriously moving songs.

Nails some of the regret I have from a previous relationship.

I'll see your "White Lightning" and raise you "Blood Runs Cold", also about Steve:
