Its well acted and cool. If you grew up with the Von Erichs the casting is way off visually. But if not you won’t notice.

Ric Flair was terrible and the real life story was even more tragic than what the movie portrayed. Timeline is really compressed too. But regardless the wife and I both enjoyed it as a movie and less any type of documentary.

Decent, wasn't as good as it could have been.

The Von Erich story is pretty frickin dark so I understand cutting things, streamlining events etc. but they took it to an extreme. Most events, if there was any build at all, were built up in the scene immediately before it (David entirely off screen, Kerry in back to back scenes) which took a lot of the emotional impact out of it.

I'm a hardcore wrestling fan and I didn't care for it. The casting was plain terrible, and there are way too many historical inaccuracies for my taste. If you're a casual fan or have no knowledge of their story, you'll probably like it. Just know that it's more fiction than fact.

Just watched it. It was okay. The Ric Flair impersonation was pitiful.

I enjoyed it but good lord Ric Flair was terribly miscast and horribly acted. That promo was so bad.

Was glad to see the Von Erich's get some glory. Kerry Von Erich was my childhood hero and I'd discus punch and Iron claw your arse in a heartbeat. Can't believe they left the discus punch from the Modern Day Warrior out.

Efron looked and built more like Kerry. Jeremy White should've been Kevin. Thought they cast Fritz well. Tragic story. The curse is real. Almost didn't watch it because I knew how it all ended and I like a happy ending.

I grew up in the days of Mid South Wrestling and watched it as a kid.

That being said, I couldn't make it past 15 minutes into this movie. It was just boring, and the casting was absolutely horrible.

I would not suggest watching it on a flight in which you have a ton of meetings immediately after.

That movie wrecked my day. That said, I though it was great.

It became a comedy as soon as I saw Zac Effron in super jacked mode. He looked like Marv from Sin City. The movie was alright, they glossed over so much, left so much out, and painted the dad in such a bad light that wasn't deserved to that level. Still...not too bad a waste of a few hours.

Just watched it. Thought it was OK. Maybe 5-10. F.V.E. portrayal was not accurate. Neither was D.V.E. death in Japan. Sportatorium exterior was spot on, as was the inside set. No Chris Adams

I thought it was very interesting and captivating. It wasn't flawless by any stretch, but difficult to compact that much information and character development into a 2 hour movie.

Like almost all historical biopics they took a lot of liberties with the facts and timeline to make the movie run better.

Aside from Ric Flair, I'm not really sure how else they could have big picture "fixed" it. It was a perfectly fine biopic if you aren't the "it's still real to me" crying wrestling meme guy.
