CC is likeable and obviously works hard because she’s a great shooter and not a physical freak by any means. I want her to do well.
That said, I will never watch a second of WNBA basketball and believe her star will start to fade soon. If she were a 6’2’’ tattooed black girl with all the same skills, no one would have paid attention in the first place. It’s because she’s a fairly cute white girl who looks nothing like what you what expect of a basketball player with her success that anyone has noticed.

She was apparently called for two bogus fouls in the first 5 minutes and taken out of the game....
Do the fouls effect her turnovers and missed FGs?

Personally? I hope she does well for her own sake. But not to prove some kind of stupid point for muh fem.
I hope she does well because it'll drive these racist black people nuts if she does.

Maya Moore was a better player overall than CC by a lot.

So you’re saying that people didn’t watch her becuase racism?
Also, what are you using as your comparison to show that she was “a lot better” ?

She’s a novelty from viewership standpoint. People don’t watch women’s basketball to see high level skills and athleticism.

Didn't watch a minute of course, except for a one minute YouTube video that popped up.
Is this the new “I don’t watch ESPN but I accidentally sat on my remote and it turned on” excuse?

She's the best female college basketball player I've ever seen. But having said that, I can honestly say I've never watched a minute of the WNBA and I don't plan on watching it with she and Angel now playing in it.

0-3 start for Clark. And I found this thread on page 3….all of the fan boys on here talking about how much of a revolution Clark will be to the wnba are awfully quiet lately.

I don’t watch this sport but a quick google says the fever won 13 games last year, 3rd fewest. She’s on a shite team in a league with concentrated talent.

Fixed it for you.
The girls on her team are terrible. When her coach tries to run plays away from Caitlyn, or Caitlyn is on the bench in foul trouble or resting, her team quickly falls behind by 20.
Where is this awesome Ailyah Boston to help lead the team? 4 points in game one, and certainly not a difference maker in the other 2 games.

It is odd how the women go straight from the tournament to the pros she is a rookie. The issue is she is the biggest star in the WNBA and they need her to be what she will be next year this year and it is not going to happen.

You can tell who the losers are in this thread.

10 missed FGs
I know what you are trying to do but some of the best shooters every had off nights. Jordan, Bird, Curry, reggie miller. Hell missing 10 shots is not that bad if you shoot 30 or 40 times.
