I am a responsible motorist and never run red lights. It's dangerous!

Pay your fine, taxes, and live an honest life, kind sir.

Getting arrested for not paying a $60 camera ticket in Baker shouldn’t be very high on anyone’s worry list.

Stop enabling the thieving assholes.

ohio ruled them unconstitutional at least 10 years ago. still see them attached to lights but they are all out of order.

One day there is going to be a thread filled with outrage when they crack down and start arresting all you folks that thought you were smart enough to not pay your tickets.

I hope "they" are stupid enough to try it.

Unless it came registered mail and you signed for the alleged ticket you never got it did you? If you didn’t get it you can’t respond now can you? It’s a scam. They can’t hurt your credit rating either because it didn’t happen.

Got one in Florida on a rental car and the rental company paid it and charged my card
wow that’s some serious bs

If suckers would stop paying these they’d probably go away. Straight into the trash every time

Nola can’t even keep up with the vehicles driving around with no plates and the nopd parks empty patrol cars around the city. They are useless. However, doing this wouldn’t surprise me bc like most stupid gov., they go after the regular folks vs criminals.

I could be wrong, but it’s a ticket based on the owner of car (plates). Not who is behind the wheel.

Apparently got one in Miami but never got the ticket mailed to me. What I did get was the suspension letter about my license from the state of Florida saying if I didn't pay it immediately my license would be suspended. Of course I had to pay it. What the hell can you do in that situation?

Does Orleans still boot for non-payment?

Nope. They cannot attach it to your credit. There is no agreement or contract.
There is no bite to the ticket, only vague threats of collection with no further recourse. You can have a hundred red light tickets pending and there is nothing they can do apart from mailing you scary letters.

They don't even send the tickets certified mail, so they have no way to prove you even are aware of the ticket. Unless you are dumb enough to enter the code from your letter to watch the video. Even then, they won't waste resources to chase you for it.
