Cohen makes no sense. Essentially, he’s claiming he was instructed to Delay the payment because win or lose Trump didn’t need to pay her.

The case is about posting the SD's payments as legal expenses. The fraud is in the accounting not the payments. May I correct?
Did Trump post these entries or instruct the accounting department.
What is the correct journal entries for those payments?

Why is this a “BOMBSHELL TESTIMONY”? And how does this affect my tax dollars, inflation, gas prices, and endless foreign wars?

The only bombshell testimony or fireworks is going to happen on cross.

How long will it take for the defense to get Cohen to admit he lied again somewhere in his testimony today?

It is a shame this isn’t t going to live in tv…

It's about the agreement. When the payment itself occurs is irrelevant unless here, you're trying to prove that the payment was tied to the election. If Trump did say to hold off payment until AFTER the election for the reasons Cohen stated, then it's directly tied to the election. Just strengthens the prosecutor's argument, IMHO.

What it strengthens is the fact that Cohen is a dumbass who didn't think his made up testimony through. Who would make an agreement to interfere with the election...after the election is over? How exactly does that work? Two previous witnesses testified that the payment was about Trump's family and had nothing to do with the election. This witness testified that it was the opposite. He's contradicted by two of the prosecution's own witnesses and we haven't even gotten to the cross examination into his record as a convicted perjurer. How in the world does any of this strengthen the prosecutor's argument?

Most likely scenario: Cohen pays Daniels to make the story go away and bills Trump for legal fees and processing without ever speaking to Trump about the details.

That's the least likely scenario, knowing how much Trump likes to pinch pennies. He'd never have reimbursed him if he hadn't explicitly agreed to the scheme.

Haven't been paying attention to the trial, have you?

Numerous witnesses (including Trump employees for 30+ years) talking about how the orange emperor had his hands in everything and refused to pay when he didn't have to. Was a micro-manager who loved to not spend money.

That he also has terrible taste doesn't really offset that for the jury.

The money didn’t come from a campaign account. It came from Trump Enterprises.

The argument they are making is that it was a thing of “value” to the campaign that was not documented by the campaign.

No. I have a life and don’t pay much attention to contrived democrat bullshite.

Put up all the testimony you want. 30+ years of Trump branding himself as a flamboyant tycoon can’t be undone so rapidly. Not to mention it’s likely not even true.
