A revolving cycle of hunting, then trapping, then golf until September when hunting season cranks back up.

Being in sales I get to play my Hobby, golf or fish all the time with customers and still do family stuff on weekends and evenings, unless traveling is required or a two day tourney pops up, which isn't often.

Bass fishing/ Tournament bass fishing has been my one hobby for a very long time. I rarely sleep in late on the weekends. Just bought a new bass boat so I am all in right now. I take the kids with me sometimes when I know we can go catch fish. It is hard to keep them interested if they aren't catching. Most of my free time is spent on the water.

Having younguns is definitely a challenge to hobbies. I still manage to get a few in there when I can. I've discovered that I really like to cook (not manufacture dinner, but legitimate cooking) which is a productive hobby as it feeds the fam. I self host a bunch of services using old hardware. Its sort of my new age ant farm/train set except the services have utility. I've always loved swimming and my kids are into it too so I'll take them to a pool and when I can get some time I'll swim laps. If I'm by myself I can swim laps for hours. I used to play music in a band with friends all the time but as we got older and jobs and kids its become a lot harder. I've recently been making an effort to get back into it. The wife and I also love traveling which young kids have put a damper on but the kids are getting old enough that we can kind of take them around with us. Its just a lot more limited and a lot more expensive.

34, married, two kids under 5

I picked up ice hockey about 6 months ago and have gotten pretty good. Playing 3 times a week. It's a great way to get massive cardio each week, and it's really fun to suck at something and see yourself getting incrementally better

I am a creature of habit.

The only things I do are read about high school sports, walk my dogs, exercise and sleep.

And work covering high school sports.

I read about guys having hobbies but as a middle aged married guy with kids I find myself not having time for hobbies at the end of the day. Those with kids what kind of hobbies do you have and how do you find time for them? Working all week and then family stuff on the weekends I’m not seeing much time available for them.

I was thinking about this the other day trying to figure out my hobbies.

I guess I've kind of just incorporated my kid into mine. Like I love playing cards and games, so I do that with him. Not really my games, but he'll learn when he's older.

I love watching HGTV and looking at houses, so he'll do that with me sometimes. He was really impressed with the Missle Silo house on Zillow Gone Wild when we watched the other day.

I'm making a hobby out of doing stuff for his school like volunteering. I've made a lot of friends with the moms and we all do it, so its fun because I'm with friends.

When I honestly have time for just me I don't want to do anything.

11 children

We put the kids in a cottage home school, so 2 days a week they go to “school” and the rest of the week is all at home.

We have 7 and are probably average or slightly below. A lot of families with 9+ kids.

I thought it was weird at first but I have really grown to love that community.

15 years ago, my hobbies were drinking, fishing, golf, football games, etc.

Now my hobbies are my kids.

My hobby seems to mostly be keeping stuff running. Fridge, oven, AC, washer, dryer, computers and boats.

Though I’m pretty good at cooking stuff and getting on the water. From Destin to Lake Maurepaus, hanging out on sandbars seems to be a theme.

A long time ago I collected stamps, wheat pennies, silver dimes and comic books. Hunting, fishing, camping, hiking have faded away. All ambition to do so has just dried up. No time or real interest anymore. It’s sad.

I have an obsessive personality, but also a bit ADD, so I really get into things, then find something new every few years.

Started with fishing. Then moved and sold my boat when I wasn't able to hop in the truck and go at any time.

Started triathlon for a few years. Got burned out after building up to an Ironman.

Got into woodworking from there. After a few years I still do it, but that obsession isn't quite there as much. As a father, I'm not going to stay in the garage all evening as much as I once did. To many events for the kids and just hanging out with the family.

Lately I have gotten into my firearms again along with cigars. But I try to mess with that after the kids go to bed. Either fiddling with parts and building a new gun, or sitting on the patio enjoying a cigar and "researching" new stuff on my phone.

I used to spend my money on Wine, Women and Song. Now I call it investing.

This one cost me a little bit.
