I understand that the definition of "impeachable offense or high crime and misdemeanor" is ultimately whatever the House of Representatives says it is. However, are we really going to start impeaching people over what is a policy decision indisputably within the powers of the POTUS?

Biden is not “Trump” so whatever ol’ Joe does, he’ll be ultimately protected and ok.
Whatever takes place over in DC, the main thing we need to remember nowadays is:
Trump = Guilty
Not Trump = Nothing to see. Not guilty
Don’t bring logic, comparators, or any attempt at reasoning. None of that matters anymore.

Though as a few posters mentioned that this is NOT going anywhere, the symbolism of any American Reps wanting to impeach Biden for "withholding aid to Israel" (of ALL things) sez a lot about Congress and their mockery of us.

I mean I’m definitely no fan of Biden and he should’ve been impeached from the start, but this is the reason why they’re going after him? For withholding taxpayer dollars being sent to defend another country? Does anyone in DC actually give two craps about the situation, the border, or the people in This country?

I don’t understand why republicans don’t just say they are not going to impeach the president this close to an election. Make a statement that Americans will decide whether or not to impeach the president in 6 months. They would look better that way.

This is the type of meaningful legislation that directly helps the citizens of this country that will be remembered as the hallmark of this republican led Congress.

Don’t do this for something he does or doesn’t do involving foreign relations. Do it for violating his oath of office to insure that the laws be faithfully executed by repeating his unconstitutional waiver of repayment of student loan indebtedness. It’s a cheap, loser, transparent, vote buying political ploy that the Supreme Court clearly ruled he cannot do and the whole country and their elected representatives know it.
