The one you absolutely love but hardly anyone has ever heard of
For me, it’s Gang Of Youths
I consider Go Farther in Lightness and Angel in Realtime masterpieces. Absolutely great albums, and heartfelt songwriting. Check them out if you can.
What are yours?

Also, more recently, Doctor Bionic.
They are as good or better than any popular funk/groove band around now IMO but no one seems to know who they are. Front man is a hip hop producer in Cincinnati, and they are pretty much a studio only band. I can't get enough of them.
In the Infinite (full album)
Terrestrial Radio (full album)

Tribe, a band out of Boston in the late 80s/early 90s. The voice of the lead singer, Janet LaValley, is absolutely mesmerizing and the chorus of their most popular song, Joyride, is very catchy. There appears to be an homage in the song to fellow Boston band, Pixies.

Ra
Very catchy almost radio hard rock style that got lost in the buttrock/numetal early 2000s, with one of the best singers in the business Sahaj Ticotin
He actually held the world record for longest note held in recording their live album, for a few years until it was broken
