Why not start making products thin enough we can shave with?
Their obsession with thinness is insane!

Maybe it's what the customers want?

Wasn't happy that everything was trimmed down to just USB-C ports but they're not alone in this.

the ipad/tablet is still one of the weirder tech things to me. dont understand the draw to that instead of a normal/touch screen laptop.

If it is thin enough that it can bend in an anorexic chick’s back pocket, it is too thin.

Should have qualified my statement with MacBook since I do enjoy that they've got USB-C on an iPhone now

Diehard Apple customers would buy a $1,500 pile of petrified skunk shite if Apple slaps a logo on it.

Back in 2012 it was widely believed that tablets would supplant laptops as the primary computing device for most people - but it didn't pan out, and the market and overall demand (particularly on the Android side of things) cratered.
With that said, tablets still have certain use cases, particularly in medical clinics, hospitals, small businesses, etc.

Yeah, the on screen keyboard is so much worse.
If you are doing anything that requires typing you lose 1/3rd of your viewing area.

A surface pro-like device with a fold out keyboard still seems superior to a straight up tablet.

I tell you what I wish someone would invent....that's a telephone you can use to have an actual conversation on. These cameras we all have with phones more or less built in are great for taking pictures of shite so you never have to actually experience the moment in real time but they SUCK at making phone calls....
I had an old bag phone back in the late 80s or early 90s when there wasn't a cell tower but every 1000 miles or so and that thing was NEVER out of range to make a call...a call that was clear and you could hear. We have 4 iphones in our family and my wife and each have a second work iphone and all 6 take passably good pictures but none of them can be used to have a conversation on....

With exception of my current old iPhone, I stopped using Apple products years ago. My next phone will probably be Android. The costs for Apple stuff just isn’t worth it.
