In recent weeks, the Ukrainian government has attempted to pressure its citizens who left the country, particularly those living in the EU, to return home, including by asking the bloc’s authorities to support this effort.

quote:

In an effort to force Ukrainians of fighting age to return home, Ukrainian consulates abroad last month announced the “suspension” of services to men between the ages of 18 and 60, who can no longer receive any necessary documents until they return home.

Hungary has no intention of extraditing Ukrainian citizens, as Kiev intensifies efforts to mobilize more troops for the army, Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjen has said.

quote:

Semjen told Hungarian broadcaster ATV on Monday that Budapest “would not extradite refugees to Ukraine.” “We do not investigate whether, according to the Ukrainians, the person is conscripted or not. Based on basic humanity, we will not allow them to be sent to their deaths. Every refugee from Ukraine is completely safe with us and receives all the help,” he added.

According to Eurostat, 4.3 million Ukrainians were living in the EU as of January 2024, of which around 860,000 are men of fighting age.

Smart move by Orban. He’s been trying to increase Hungary’s population without adding Muslim immigrants from backwards countries. He can add a million Ukrainians with similar cultural values who want to work and add to the country with this move while shaming other EU countries for sending young Ukrainian men to their deaths. Orban is always playing chess, not checkers.

Meanwhile, France is sending Foreign Legion troops to "support" Ukrainian combat units.

I truly feel Hungary is leading the world in "good decisions". They and Sweden were tough on the WHO and Covid. Both told them to F off.

Ukraine should clear out all of their discos and pool party areas first before demanding other countries to deport the Ukrainians from their countries...

Russia is not going to invade more countries just like N.Vietnam did not spread to all other nations in the area.

Both were created wars by the military industrial complex

The US could have done the same. We could have been inviting Ukrainian refugees to live and work here and assimilate. Industrious folk with a rich history, a hatred of communism and an overall good work ethic. Farmers and grain workers who would happily do the jobs that Democrats claim that "Americans don't want to do".

Of course, they're white, so we tell them to frick off like we told the white farmers of South Africa, and we open our borders wide to welcome cartel drug and child traffickers, Chinese nationals who run illegal weed grows and supply Chinese fentanyl to the cartels, South American prison rejects, no-skilled low-IQ Central Americans, cannibal Haitians, and radical Islam extremists.

We are so fricking broken right now that it's simultaneously fascinating, terrifying and hilarious.

It was the spread of communism in southeast Asia that the USA was trying to stop. Not the spread of N. Vietnam. After the fall of Saigon, there was a spread of communism spread in Southeast Asia. The Khmer Republic in Cambodia fell to the communists and resulted in one of the largest genocide's in history. The monarch in Laos was also overthrown by communists after the Fall of Saigon. The flood of refugees from South VIetnam, Cambodia, and Laos let the conservative party defeat the communists in the 1976 Thai elections.

Well, "stopping Communism" was the overlords' script-writer narrative for what the VN war was about. Was the stated objective a lie to begin with?

Irony: Who now will stop the current spread of Communism in the USA?
