For me it’s trying to piece out those little northeastern states in New England. But I generally forget Minnesota…

perhaps the most famous state

Delaware. Dont know anyone thats ever said they were going there or have been there.

Delaware gets my vote

Delaware ranks right up there.
I've been through Rhode Island. My observations:
1) It seems to exist only so the rest of New England could have a place to put more Dunkin Donuts
2) It is a speed trap for people going to the Patriots games from Connecticut.

Iowa or Nebraska. People naming off states like Maine and New Hampshire when you have probably only vacationed in Florida and Tennessee is laughable.

I am sure I can give you the state, but I don’t remember it.

California is a lot of things but forgettable is not one of them. I think some of yall misunderstood the concept here.
Just because you don’t like the state and want to forget it doesn’t mean it’s a forgettable state.

A fugue state is literally a forgettable state

Probably Rhode Island or Delaware, but Kansas derives 90% of its recognition from Wizard of Oz. The other 10% is George Brett, who played for a team in Missouri.

You are correct, but I am sure that it is real because it costs a fortune in tolls to cross a corner of that tiny state.
Besides, we have them to "thank" for giving us the current occupant of the White House...

After reading 5 pages, it is surprising the staying power of Wayne’s World influence.

I’m going Iowa. No way it’s real

It’s Missouri
quote:
The quiz has been attempted by players more than 19 million times, and Missouri is the state the lowest percent of people guess correctly. Only 77.6 percent of players manage to remember it, compared to the 97.3 percent who list California or Texas. The four most-forgotten states behind Missouri are Connecticut, Minnesota, Massachusetts, and Nebraska. If you’re one of the few who remembered Missouri, try guessing the only letter that’s not in any U.S. state name.

By answering the question though wouldn’t you be proving, that in fact, they are not forgettable?
