Last night, my son’s flag football team had to forfeit because only 5 players could make the game. The rule is that the teams can still play for fun when that happens. The team his team played kept 6 players in the whole time even though the team they were playing only had 5. the opposing team won regardless because of the forfeit so why do that to a handful of first graders?

Why even play if it isn’t a competition? What’s the point of winning unfairly?
