I don't think the racial tension in America is as bad as the media portrays...

But, pretty much every city in the country is clearly racially segregated. Do you think there will ever be actual racial and cultural integration? Or are we more or less heading towards "black states" and "white states".

The question is, and it is the only question that matters, is that segregation by force or choice?

It’s not.

Not 100%. It would be impossible to do without all races losing everything that is unique to them. But we could get to the point where everyone has an understanding that folks are meant to be different.

The poors segregate racially. Everyone else segregates by socioeconomic class.

I believe it’s pretty much one sided. But still not as bad as it’s made to be.

I’m not so sure about that. Jon Minadeo is doing everything he can to keep the people divided.

pretty much every city in the country is clearly economically segregated.

It's social-economics that separate people nowadays not race...

I shake when I’m extremely pissed off. The cops not going beating the living crap out of him is amazing. Very restrained.

It’s definitely one sided for the most part. The black hatred of white people is the worst it’s been in my lifetime. The black desire for segregation (as long as they’re still getting whitey’s tax dollars) is the strongest it’s been in my lifetime.
As far as white on black racism, I see more white people going out of their way to be nice to black people, that’s how it’s been for a while, but the media tends to only show the “we don’t like your kind” types and act like it’s everywhere (kind of like they act like there’s a trans person in every household).
So now we’ve got white people who just have fun protesting so they go to BLM stuff (without realizing Jacob Blake raped a girl and tried to stab a cop), but they’ll eventually get tired of it and move on to the next trendy protest.
Outside of that, we’ve also got white people who genuinely feel guilty and might always feel that way. SJW’s. And on the flip side there are white people who hate black people no matter what and always have felt that way. Both of these groups will always be around no matter WHAT happens.
And last we’ve got white people who want to be helpful to black America, but they still keep getting guilted and called “racists” and accused of “stealing everything”, told constantly that “America was never great” and all that… to where that compassion turns to exhaustion, then indifference, then resentment. That’s personally where I’m at.

it's the narrative the media wants you to believe but at the end of the day the elected leaders have failed on multiple levels in certain communities despite promises they make every single election cycle
if things are so bad then why haven't Obama and Biden improved the situation since they have had more time then any other elected leaders recently and all the Democrat governors and mayors in these states and cities that have failed to make any progress despite dominating the political climate as of late

People tend to want to settle and be amongst people who share the same cultural values as them...I'm not sure why we have to see that as a negative

Jon Minadeo is a well-known alt-right white nationalist who regularly films himself harassing Jews and black people in Palm Beach. He’s a giant douchebag. That video is one of many instances of him doing this

We have school kids bussed to our local school from schools around the parish in order to allow segregation to balance numbers. Without getting into what this has done to our schools, I have a question. If school choice gives them the right to be bussed to the school of their choice, does the rule concerning proof of residency apply the the white kids that would rather attend another school in the parish?

Anyone else find it fascinating that the death of unarmed black people by police just stopped being an issue in 2021.
