Is it stupidity,is it the accident chasing attorneys, or is it just the dumb people down here?

Congested roadways make it hard for wreckers and cops to arrive on scene and clear it.

You have to wait for the people involved to throw themselves on the ground and demand not to be moved by anyone except an EMT

Not too long ago, a dude slammed into the back of me. His truck was totaled, mine was driveable. Once I checked on the driver, I pulled into the nearest parking lot. He was unable to move. LSP showed up and immediately hooked the smashed truck onto his cruiser and pulled the smashed truck into the parking lot. The trooper began the process within 2 minutes of arriving on scene.

Because it is one of the dumbest state and poorest states, So not only are these people dumb, but it is a huge financial burden to them to be in an accident and they take their time to make sure somebody else will be paying for this.

Painfully slow police response is most likely the culprit. Takes a while to document everything.

I had a client in East Texas fire a young black woman who was working on the production line. She had some huge safety violation that merited an on the spot firing. She was from Shreveport. As she walked out, she was yelling "one call that's all .. one call that's all ..."

Client had no clue what she was referring to so he called me. He laughed when I told him it was a personal injury attorney's slogan.

I passed a minor rear ender yesterday on the way home from work. 2 wrecked cars. 4 cop cars. 6 total. Uncharacteristically the whole mess was far enough off the road to not impede traffic. You could see the disappointment in the cops eyes...'cause normally they'd have parked at odd angles across both lanes of traffic and created a horrendous traffic jam. I am certain they will do a better job next time...bless their hearts.
