I just have to believe their very young daughters were who Joey was speaking to. This is the most embarrassing episode yet. Brings up his son Beau who DID NOT die in a war.

What sticks out to me is the whooping and hollering because the dementia ward escapee announced he signed a bill to “protect Ukraine with the money they need…”
I very much doubt that the most pressing issue in the mind of a soldier maimed during the pointless 20 year occupation of Afghanistan is funding yet more endless war in the hinterlands of Eastern Europe.
