That's the point I always come back to. This dude thinks we put Apollo 11 in orbit and they flew around up there while they faked the landing and nobody noticed it? Give me a break. That's laughable. The Soviets would have bullhorned that for years.
Why would we believe the soviets?
My strangest thing is no one else has done it. They have sent people to space but no one else has landed a man on the moon.
Just the country with the greatest and biggest movie studios.
Also here is some proof the American flags are still standing. Might as well throw a picture of Bigfoot with it.

The Apollo 1 Command Module did not "blow up" though a flash fire aided by a pure oxygen atmosphere might have seemed like an explosion.
The whole lunar landing thing was done as a competition with the USSR. There wasn't a whole lot of scientific benefit to the program as compared with other potential space explorations.
I haven't followed the space program carefully but I believe there have been plans (just discussions?) about putting an observatory on the moon. This time, scientific advancement instead of a space race will be the motivation.

This and NASA/CIA/Govt would never lie right? Especially in the 60s when it’s so easy to verify, right?
Also, NASA funding was over 4% of the budget in the 60s, now less than 1% in the age of the best technology. Why’d they quit?

The date keep getting pushed back but here is the new schedule:
quote:
NASA will now target September 2025 for Artemis II, the first crewed Artemis mission around the Moon, and September 2026 for Artemis III, which is planned to land the first astronauts near the lunar South Pole. Artemis IV, the first mission to the Gateway lunar space station, remains on track for 2028.

I guess just posting this BS to the OT wasn't enough...

I'm not convinced either way but I do find it strange that we never went back. I feel pretty confident that had we gone once we'd continue to go back until we made the moon a de facto US territory.
We did go back. There were multiple moon landings. Each trip cost billions of dollars. Eventually the "been there done that" mentality took over and funding was cut. The "WeLL wHy HaVeN't wE gOnE bAcK!?" argument is moronic.

I want Elon to send some folks to the moon and then video previous mission debris left there. That will be the only way it would be believable to those who are skeptic. I am not in 100% disbelief but the video of them showing the earth, in what appears to be 130,000 miles in the distance, wasn’t shown with the camera up against the glass and watching it in this podcast proves that. Maybe at 130,000 feet, the earth still appears large and they had to video it that way to get a better perspective of what we were seeing but to say the camera was up against the glass filming, appears to be untrue.

The government would never lie about some like that!

String several curious things together out of context and you have one.
Those curious things are often called evidence among the freethinkers.
You don't want to be labeled a "conspiracy theorist," boys and girls, so if you find evidence that the official story is wrong, just write it off as a curiosity.
NASA clearly faked photographs? It's curious, but doesn't disprove anything.
The shadows don't align. Sure, it's physically impossible, but it's just a curiosity. It doesn't mean the official story is wrong.
Just believe what you are told, folks. Looking at evidence and using your brain will lead to nowhere good.

Landing a man on the moon (and more importantly getting them back) is an order of magnitude more complex, dangerous and expensive than just sending them to space.

What did the RHCP's know and when did they know it?

1. it's fricking expensive
2. it's risky, we were due to lose some more folks.

All "evidence" points to the fact we landed on the moon.

I straddle this for sure. The whole "we lost the technology" excuse is just laughable to me. I'm not sure I buy that narrative even 1%.

I've never heard that one.

So basically the trips were completely useless.

If the moon landing was faked, the Soviets would have known and they would have been glad to expose that and embarrass the USA.
