Do yall ever feed your dogs raw meat? My black lab as a pup gulped down a duck breast from the bowl after I had just cut them out. I’ve given him frozen, and thawed, deer cuts when I’m making a meal. Google says not to but curious of yalls opinions.

And there are parasites who complete their life cycles in the bodies of canines too....

Once adapted they are fine. There is a whole raw dog food community out there. Though the community does incorporate some bone and random vegetable, it’s a very meat heavy diet.
We let the dogs clean up the deer or cow carcasses and they are fine. Our inside dog get his crack at a 2-3 day old carcass. The bones are good for them, they just can’t be cooked bones.

Look up the B.A.R.F. (bones and raw food) diet for dogs.

I’ll give mine scraps of meat off deer or beef sometimes.
Never been an issue.

Sure, my lab eats raw meat, bones, yes even cooked bones, days old stinky leftovers. Have you never seen a dog eat another dogs shite? Or throw up and eat it back up.
Recent veterinary study found dogs that fed bones, meat, scraps, etc had better gut health than dogs just fed dry dog food. Like that is any better since it is basically rendered chicken n beef guts.

quit tha googl. If the meat is fresh and not rancid it’s the best nutrition theyll get. Even better than that blue triple diamond bag food you overpay for.
They dont have same gut as you. Its fine and actually better.

This right here. I have been feeding my dog with the raw food diet for several years now. In todays economy it is cheaper than any of the high end dog foods. It is also way better for them. My dog is the healthiest he's ever been, and our vet is astonished by the results of the diet.

Seems wasteful, we boil our bones down to make bone broth.

The only time I have had an issue is I gave one of my dogs too much venison scraps, and she threw up. Now when ever I clean up venison i limit the amount, and they do fine.

Come dig up the pieces from various parts of the back yard and boil them all you want.

It's got to be healthier than a cat turd, which mine thinks is a delicacy.

Wrong. It foams out nasty shite, stinks and puts off a weird flavor.

Stop using the Google search engine. For any reason.
Apparently, their A.I. is programmed by soy vegans. The fact that it said not to feed canines raw meat should have been the first indication that they are full of shite.
Dogs have been eating raw meat since they developed teeth that would rip meat off a bone. Then they crush the bones up to get at the marrow.
Next, it will tell you not to let your dog drink from a pothole full of water.

I do not but it I’m not against it at all.
My uncle has a German shepherd that has been on a raw meat diet for years and he is healthy as an ox.
