Taken from the Rant. Governor Landry is looking to gain majority authority of most state boards to quickly push his full agenda through.

Says in the video it’s all about the universities. Seems he can’t get past the National Anthem issue. Coming off pretty damn petty.

Also a very dangerous precedent IMO

Great news. I’m in favor of his agenda.

Remind us how JBE handled his transition again? And, by the way, how did JBE handle the pandemic as far as individual autonomy over pushing a political agenda? One of us needs a reminder.

But but but…Landry fought against the woke federal democrats with grandstanding letters and lawsuits! Lmao. All the cucks on this board who praised him. He’s a swamp politician who is exactly what this board claims to hate.

One of the big problems here is that it is impossible to discern what the “full agenda” consists of. Up to now it has been to grab greater power, make government actions more secretive, and do stupid virtue signaling stuff for things that aren’t problems. If all we get from the Republican supermajority is a childish king of Louisiana, we need to change some names on the offices in Baton Rouge.

frick Jeff Landry. His voters are just as retarded as Joe Biden’s in my opinion. Anyone who didn’t see shite like this coming is blind.

This is what most governors do in most states

These are our universities.

I rather an elected official who is held accountable by the voters, to be in charge of my state-funded university, than unelected Commie scum who dominate our higher education in America

And you idiots are falling for propaganda written by socialist “journalists”

“Darn Landry, an elected official, trying to appoint our supervisors!”

“We want our supervisors chosen by commies!”

He is also pushing for the people to not get to vote on amendments to the constitution and for public records to be private.

Landry could bring peace to the middle east and many of these retards will accuse him of pandering.

I know plenty people that were some of Landry's biggest supporters and have now done a complete 180. Not sure if they would go as as vote for a democrat in the next election but if this keeps up, who knows,

There’s legislation also being pushed through the legislature now to give the governor full authority to appoint all state Supreme Court justices and all members of the public service commission.

So, basically the legislature is trying to get a Supreme Court and Public Service Commission wholly owned by ExxonMobil.
