Yes

Their rotation has been falling off for a while. They clearly needed to remake it this off-season and largely added a bunch of #4 type starters with little upside. I’m not sure what they were expecting but the results so far aren’t surprising. They need to hire pitching development people from an org that does it well

DeWitt and John Mozeliak are the problem. The franchise will improve the day those numbskulls are gone.

Ownership no longer cares. And player development is a shell of what it used to be. There's your answer.

The big league roster is below average as well as the farm system. They don’t spend money. How are they rebuilding anything?

Are you trolling? The arms have been good to great.
They can't hit. But it's early and they just got Noot back and Edman isn't too far from return either.
I'd say wait and see, most projections had them winning the division for a reason.

They're rudderless. Their GM wants puppets for managers and their owner wants 3 million to show up for a chance at the Wild Card.
It's been a self-sustaining cycle for a decade-plus now. Shildt showed a spine and was quickly shown the door. New puppet Marmol is in.

It's almost as if an organization hits the shittier when it can no longer commit industrial espionage and steal other teams IP....

They need to rebuild. They are postponing it, to their detriment. Best to take your medicine early.

I think they're perfect right where they are. The bonus to them sucking is I haven't had to hear that "Best Fans in Baseball" shite for quite a few years now.

What’s wrong with Cardinals.
I’m Cub fan from north Ms. I try and go watch Cubs farm team when they play Red Birds in Memphis . I really liked the Cardinal Manager Mike Shlit. I probably spelled that wrong. He used to coach Memphis team. To this day don’t know why Cards got rid of him. Great coach

they have an old, stingy owner, who counts his stacks of cash
they also have a horrendous POBO, who put his shill into GM position, and they hired a yes man to fill the lineup out.
they don't like when you dont play the big contracts over guys actually hitting
Mo'ron has killed the team with bad moves, and bad non moves.

I bet my Father last night $100, they don't make the playoffs, which means they have to win the central, they wont sniff a wild card.
