It’s the belief by many that the world would be a safer place with a Trump as president because Trump is tough and our enemies know better than to provoke anyone because trump will put the Womack on them.

At the same time, many Trump loyalists praise Trumps non interventionist
Global policy.

How is it that Trump will bring about world peace without an interventionist position?

We were safer under Trump than we are under Biden.

You tell us. Who fricked around while Trump was President? Keeping in mind of course some of the proactive measures Trump took with our military and its resources. Did you not perceive that bad actors on the international stage “minded their manners” during Trump’s Presidency?

'Deterrence' is not intervention. It's establishing a high risk level for others. Weak leaders like Biden are seen as golden opportunities for enemies to act. It's been like that for about 5,000 years.

Well.. he did it for 4 years when he was president. Funny how people who dislike trump totally forgets that he has already been president and the world and America were 10000000000 times safer AND better

Who ever comes in to lead the Department of State .......better have a fire hose ready to put out the fires scattered through that trash heap.

We've got departments that are littered with stupidity.

Item 1. Stop hiring from northeastern liberal shithole collages. There needs to be a policy in place to remove hiring trash. You see the direct affects from the stupidity out of Columbia and Harvard. I've got friends in both, good kids, but believe every bit of trash from the NYT.

Both laugh when I tell them my daughter's parrot would not take a dump of the NYT if it were used as cage liner.......

On any objective measure, the world was a better, safer place with Trump in the WH.

If only he would have been president for 4 years so you could see him keep the world calm.

The world was in a fairly safe place during Trumps term.

At least until China released Covid and the Democrats released BLM just in time for the election.

Our interventions haven't managed to bring even a tiny bit of world peace. We should stick to our side of the globe, and let Europe and Asia sort themselves out.

Pretty silly question.
A Leader who leaves little doubt how serious he is on issues vs another who can’t decide which gay Holiday to celebrate that day.
Other game, recognize game.
People don’t fuking mess around with people like Trump because the wrath isn’t worth worth it.

You're not going to get a real answer from this crowd.

They've been wound up by Huckster Tucker Carlson and told to believe that anyone who intervenes militarily in foreign policy is conspiring to start a war for profit, and they believe anything and everything that huckster feeds them no matter how dumb it is.

On the other hand, however, it's a matter of public record that Trump DID intervene militarily between 2016 and 2020 in exactly the same ways that they've been taught to condemn by The Great Charlatan. Which is (obviously) why Russia and Hamas and everybody else pulled this shite on Biden's watch. Trump showed force. He used force. He didn't just talk.

So they are caught. They can't (ever) say anything bad about Trump, but they've also swallowed the idiocy that we need to adopt a Jimmy Carter-style pussy foreign policy.

So they basically refuse to confront the dichotomy and ignore it when you point it out. The dilemma of the lemming.

To answer your question, Trump will not bring about world peace without an interventionist position. He will intervene. Just like he did the first time around, and just like he should. He knows this, but he also knows something else.

We live in a country in which what a leader or politician says is the most important thing, not what they do. Which is why people think Donald Trump is the bestest president ever (or the worst president ever) when in reality he was pretty meh. Because they like what he says. They don't care so much about what he does.

He gets that, and therefore he has no problem saying something he absolutely knows is false to pacify idiots long enough to get elected.

He also knows that leaders in places like Russia or Israel or Iran are exactly the opposite. What's important to them is not what you say, it's what you do that matters and what they respond to. Those places constantly shovel bellicose and posturing bullshite that they know is nonsense. They only respond to action.

Trump will say what idiot voters who live up TC's butt want to hear to get elected, but then he will do what he needs to do to send the appropriate message to stop the shenanigans.

And then the narrative about anyone intervening in foreign affairs will change and the lemmings will stop parroting bullshite about it. It will be recognized for the obvious fact that it is again that the world is a safer place when America intervenes.

Where do you want to start? He wouldn’t be pushing for Ukraine to be in NATO, thereby provoking Russia. He also would not continue to allow the millions and millions of legal immigrants to come across our southern border. Do I even need to make a comment about the economy? Do I even need to comment in regards to the absolute lawlessness that is being promoted by the Left?

Peace through strength.

Weak men (Biden) talk a big game and don’t back it up. Biden has said “don’t” about Russia invading Ukraine, and about Iran backed groups attacking Israel. He loves to sit on the fence. Won’t take a strong stance on anything because of his need for the jihad vote in Michigan.

He’s left a power vacuum in the world Russia, Iran, China etc are all glad to fill.

Trump made all of them think twice. It’s why they all waited until Biden got in office before they made a move.

Just an observation on my part: most of the public seems to have forgotten how ISIS/ISIL was a persistent pain in the arse during Obama’s terms- remember the “JV squad” who Obama was never able to adequately deal with? Their influence in the Middle East quickly dissipated when Trump became President

Trump is unpredictable, which is not bad. Biden is a beta and countries can walk all over us.
