I implied what everyone knows. Everyone, including the Palestinians knew that the UN was partitioning the region and setting up statehood for both countries. So what do they do? Go buckwild on their Israeli neighbors. I guess Israel could have just stood by and let those unfortunate Israelis be slaughtered by the Palestinians, but they didn’t. They also weren’t too keen on ceding the high ground to all the Arab countries that they knew were going to attack at this point. War is hell, especially when you get your arse kicked.

If you've ever been to Israel, tons of people in Israel don't look like they are from the area, and its easy to see that they've been transplanted from Europe/US.
Like if a bunch of brown people showed up and in Sweden, you'd innately know those folks are from somewhere else.

The truth is the imaginary line you want to draw between the war that started with the UN resolution in November 1947, ending in May 1948, and the beginning of the Arab Israeli war, starting in May 1948, really doesn’t exist.

What is your point with this? The only thing in common is that Israel forced both groups to move. This was a carrot offered to Gaza but in exchange they just surrounded and blockaded the place from there on out. They didn’t want their citizens in there anyway. I don’t know what meaningful resettlement has been done in the West Bank, all the settlements still exist and are still growing.
The difference is that in 1948 the Israelis forcefully and illegally drove the Palestinians out of their homes (in territory granted to Palestinians in the UN partition plan).
Agreed. That is such an disingenuous argument. Why would the few Jews remaining in Gaza or West Bank want to stay there as a second class citizen, when Jews from around the world were migrating to Israel?

-Jet entered from Jordanian airspace
-Israel is saying they didn't do it
-The US is saying Israel did it
-Lots of Arabs are blaming us
-The Prime Minister of Iraq is currently in DC
I don't have a problem with Israel doing what they need to do, but quit being pussies about taking accountability for airstrikes. Bibi wants us dragged into the war. My brother is currently in Iraq and I don't appreciate putting American soldiers at risk for Israeli operations

Someone in the US DOD leaked a previously undisclosed missile that was specifically developed to destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities without a kinetic warhead. The missile is capable of damaging electronics in a wide area of effect. Either Israel is using their assets within our DOD to push us towards a conflict with Iran or our government is secretly plotting with Israel while feigning no desire to be involved.
