JJ is working hard to fill out the roster.

He has only caught 4 games total in his college career so calling him a catcher is disingenuous. BUT he has played both OF and 1B and has a strong arm so maybe 3B is in play too.

We need depth at catcher regardless. We have 1 on our future roster and he didn’t even play for LSU last year. There are no guarantees that the Tomball catcher shows up on campus after the draft.
