Media panics that two lawyers on Trump jury will vote to acquit.

The “totally uncommon” prospect of two lawyers serving on the same jury could benefit the former president, some jury experts say.

As if there weren’t enough plot twists in Donald Trump’s legal saga, this week’s jury selection has produced one more: At least two lawyers will sit on his jury.
That could be good news for the former president, according to some experts on juror behavior, especially if Trump’s defense team plans to mount technical legal arguments to try to win an acquittal.

Lawyers are called for jury duty like anyone else, but they rarely serve as jurors, and it’s “totally uncommon” to see two or more lawyers on a single jury, said trial consultant Charli Morris.
But of the seven jurors selected for Trump’s hush money trial so far, one is a civil litigator at a large white-shoe law firm, and another is a corporate lawyer at a firm focused on start-ups and venture capital. Five more jurors, plus about six alternates, will be selected in the coming days.
Typically, prosecutors and defense lawyers alike try to keep lawyers off juries, fearing heightened scrutiny from members of their own profession. But in a Manhattan jury pool that is largely seen as unfavorable to the former president, Trump’s legal team might see a silver lining in having lawyers on the jury.
“They’re not emotional thinkers,” said Galina Davidoff, a Chicago-based trial consultant. “The profession requires them to do analysis, and emotional thinkers get more easily swayed by the side that goes first, that tells a good story.”

Attorneys could be just as biased as the judge and prosecutor. They will know without a doubt that he should be acquitted, however. Just a matter of how much they care. The leftists on this board don’t leave me much hope of them being honest if they are lefties.

does the media realize they are not suppose to be conniving and worried about someone not getting sent to prison?

There are over 100 lawyers nationwide prosecuting Trump.
You think SFP, Uncle Boosie, or Pedo Hank would vote to acquit?

Attorneys are more willing to bastardize our laws and judicial system to reach a desired end than anyone.

Since 90-95% of lawyers are Democrats, I highly doubt the prosecution would allow a conservative lawyer anywhere near the jury box

If a lawyer is on jury duty, it’s because he/she wants to be there. I guess we’ll see why at some point.

I would feel a lot better about it if they were two engineers.

How can you be called Media if panic occurs due to an acquittal of someone?

They run the risk of being disbarred if they don't vote Trump guilty. They won't be welcomed at the Manhattan legal field galas and happenings. Find him guilty however and they'll get a heroes welcome at the galas as they retell the story of how they used all their legal know how to apply the law and sway the commoners.

I have never heard of two lawyers on a single jury. Wild.

Wait is the media admitting that the outcome of the trial was supposed to be predetermined?

Every juror regardless of profession will vote based on their bias in this one. There really isn't anything to consider otherwise.
It is pretty funny to see them openly concerned that there are people on the jury who might actually know the law though.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Given the media's history of false fears and collaboration with the IC, it is far more likely that these two are compensated actors that will attempt to ensure the jury unanimously convicts.

Another set up... they can now sa,.when they issue a conviction, the not 1 but 2 lawyers were on the Jury and this must be a just verdict.
Watch and See, they'll build this up as some benefit for Trump and then later use it to say he got a fairly trial but was obviously guilty due to the 2 lawyers on Jury.

Isn’t Dan Goldman a Manhattan attorney?

Would be hilarious if the prog push against non-unanimous verdicts in criminal trials bites them in the arse.
