I went back to watch that part and it looks like multiple people. The leaders of the forming Enclave maybe?
I think you can see a woman with glasses. Could be Moldaver but I don’t know how that would make sense

Just finished it. What an amazing show. Really captured the feel of the games. The main character Lucy was well acted and the Ghoul and his back story was perfect.
I'm upset there were only 8 episodes.

Then I recommend Justified, Vice Principals, and The Righteous Gemstones.

Curious to see what the story is that allowed Moldaver to live that long, much less his wife.
Didn’t we learn that some humans were held in suspended animation tanks?

Yeah, but Moldaver was directly opposed to Vault tec and having Cooper investigate his wife before the bombs dropped. And was apparently the NCR leader for quite a while. So be interesting to see how it happened.

I’m guessing “the resistance” forcibly took over a vault before the bombs dropped. Or had a bunch of moles inside Vault-Tec.

Justified Episode 1 Season 1. Boyd Crowder
So far I have seen 3 Justified Alums in Fallout.
Walton Goggins - Ghoul
Mykelti Williamson - The leader of the group that dug the Ghoul up.
Michael Rapaport - Knight Titus, the one the coward Maximus let die and then stole his Titan Armor.

Justified doesn’t claim Rapaport. That casting decision was a mistake that should be blotted from tv history.

Yeah, that was really the only legit poor casting in the entire show, he was it's only real blemish.

Really shows just how bad Rapaport is. The justified writers were even able to make the Yes Dear guy a believable mobster.

No kidding, he singlehandedly made that season mediocre, when all the rest of the seasons were at least very good to amazing.

Was there ever an answer to what happened in vault 32?
I finished season one a few days ago, enjoyed it, and completely forgot that we really never got an answer to what happened in vault 32 which was one of my biggest curiosities (as someone who didn’t play any of the games)
Is it just that the Vault 32 people figured out Vault 31 housed “specific leaders” and if so I guess I understand killing the overseer (he was found tied up and dead) but then why kill one another? It was a gnarly scene in Vault 32. I was expecting something big there and completely forgot that I don’t think it was ever answered

Not sure if it was explained in the show or I read it somewhere, but essentially their crops failed and they ran out of food. Everyone either starved or killed themselves to avoid starvation. In order to preserve the integrity of the goals of the vaults, communication between vaults is non-existent or just between the overseers, so there was no way they could get help from 33.

It looked like a lot of them killed themselves. Like the one body sitting in a chair holding a fork stuck into a toaster.
I kind of agree that the reaction didn’t really make sense unless there was something else going on.
ETA: The point above about starvation (or maybe even trying to avoid cannibalism) makes sense.

Michael Emerson and the dog reminded me of another Jonathan Nolan Series; Person of Interest.

I already started a rewatch and I think they allude to her reluctantly being a part of vault tec in like ep 6 or 7.
In the hallway scene in the mausoleum, she says something about vault tec buying up all of these subsidiaries (including her company?).
Maybe she played along to play the long game, knowing she couldn't stop them before the war.
If I remember correctly, she was R&D for a company VT partnered with working on cold fusion. Once, her company advanced it far enough, VT panicked because they knew it would delay the apocalypse and kill their bottom line. They then bought any company that had anything to do with the research and buried it all. On the face, this was really the cornerstone of the entire plot.

Finished it last night. Overall a really good show. After finding out it was Nolan and Joy running it, I got my hopes up pretty big and it did not disappoint.
The ending didn't really blow me away, but it was fine. There were a couple shock moments that just weren't that shocking. Didn't take away from the show but I'd say the finale was probably one of my least favorite episodes of the season.
I need to read a episode recap though because there are a few things I'm still slightly confused about.
A solid 8.5/10 series though.
It's going to be two years until we get season two isn't it? Ugh.
