It's absolutely where the idea came from. I made a thread about this years ago on here. In Season 4 or 5, one of the scenes where Roger is going through his rolodex trying to scare up clients, he's on the phone and says something to the effect of " Oh sorry Louise... I hadn't heard that Larry had died."

I don't know if Matthew Weiner has ever talked about it or admitted it, but it is assuredly inspired by Bewitched.

Three recent movies that are bad (despite the rave reviews):
Oppenheimer
Killers of the Flower Moon
Dune 2

Tom Hanks is a mediocre actor. His best role is still Big.

Big Bang Theory was a decent show and the finale was well done.

Animal House sucked & John Belushi is very overrated, as was the entire "Golden Age" cast of SNL. The women weren't funny, Garrett Morris was the black guy, Chevy Chase was a one trick pony & Dan Ayckroyd had no personality.

Chase & Ayckroyd are a curious yin/yang pair. It's as if a great comedian was split in two, like that Jeckyll/Hyde episode of Star Trek.

Don't you dare compare that supernatural angel....

To the real witch Betty Draper.

The ending to Blazing Saddles is really stupid, and not in a good way. It nearly ruins the movie its so bad.

So, Beatrix Kiddo is shot in the head by Bill and is in a coma. She kills Buck and wheels to his very prominent truck.

No one thinks to check the Pussy Wagon after finding Buck and the redneck?

Larry David is only talented behind the camera.

The Coen Brothers have only made one truly great film - Miller's Crossing.

Game of Thrones was highly overrated.

Breaking Bad’s series finale didn’t stick the landing. Nazis? Really?!

Baskets is the best comedy series of this century, so far.

The best Tarantino movies in this order are....

Reservoir Dogs
Kill Bill I
Kill Bill II
Pulp Fiction

Everything else is overrated bullshite, especially Basterds. Oh and his worst movie, far and away is Jackie Brown.

Murder, She Wrote’s never showing Sheriff Metger’s wife Adele can, on occasion, become slightly overplayed.

The original Star Wars is a slightly above-average science fiction action adventure. It has some good special effects for the time, like the spaceship battle scenes. But it also had some embarrassingly bad parts like the space cantina scene - many of "creatures" were obvious fake costumes that look like felt and plastic, and the music the band plays is absurd and tries way too hard to be cute...no matter how backward an alien culture, they don't like that kazoo crap. Nothing in any of the films justifies the mythology and fan worship built around the franchise.

If Todd Howard doesn't release Fallout 5: Los Angeles in a short period of time, he's is in real danger of physical harm. Damn that show for rekindling this urge to roam the wasteland.
